Rockart named to Schussel Chair

An innovative contributor and a loyal MIT Sloan supporter for 34 years, this article announces that John F. (Jack) Rockart has been named the George and Sandra Schussel Distinguished Senior Lecturer of Information Technology at MIT.
In response to his new appointment, Rockart said, “The chair which the Schussels have provided for the Sloan School will enable us to expand our efforts in the area of information technology, a field in which Sloan is consistently ranked number one in the polls, including those by U.S. News & World Report and Business Week.”
